Ky-Mani Marley was born February 26, 1976, at Falmouth Jamaica. He is one of the wealthiest and popular Reggae artists. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani's first album, called Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was followed by Dear Dad", which reached number 1 in charts in the British chart of reggae. Ky-Mani and Praswell who are members of the Fugees formed a band in 1997 to create Avenue the cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a guest in Midem (international music festival) when it was held in Miami at the beginning of its run. Marley did a live performance at the Cameo Theatre, which was broadcasted by Caribbean News Agency across 36 nations. Marley's name became the topic of a bid war.
